Can I edit on my phone?
The mobile site introduces the features and lets you watch demos. Open HtmlDrag on a computer for AI creation, AI Refinement and visual editing.
Can I edit HTML generated by AI?
Yes. Upload an HTML file or paste the code to edit text, images, styles, and element positions on the canvas. You can also select elements for AI Refinement. Pages that depend on an app framework or complex runtime behavior may need additional work after import.
How does targeted AI Refinement differ from full-page regeneration?
Unlike full-page regeneration that rewrites the entire code and can break existing layouts or erase manual edits, targeted AI Refinement isolates only the elements you select. You describe the change in plain language, AI updates that specific section, and saves a new version while leaving the rest of your page completely untouched.
Is the visual editor limited to just dragging elements?
Far more than simple drag-and-drop. You can resize elements, edit text inline, replace images, insert new components, and edit tables directly on the canvas. You can also manage layers, lock or delete elements, add hyperlinks, and access clean HTML/CSS source code. These controls work alongside AI Refinement for different kinds of adjustments.
Does File to HTML reproduce the original layout exactly?
File to HTML uses AI to turn your file content into an editable webpage. It does not guarantee a pixel-perfect reproduction. Review the text, data, tables, images, and layout, then refine the page with AI Refinement or edit it on the canvas.
Can I host the exported HTML myself?
Yes. Download the edited HTML for further development or self-hosting. Images, fonts, scripts, and services linked from external URLs still need to remain accessible. Check the page in your deployment environment before publishing.
Can I clone any public webpage?
Use Clone Webpage to bring a public page into an editable project. Login requirements, anti-bot protections, dynamic content, and restricted assets can affect the result. Review the imported page and use content you have permission to edit.
What happens to uploaded documents?
Documents may be held temporarily on the server for parsing and generation, then cleaned up after processing or expiry. Generated HTML and project assets can be saved with your project in My Projects. Temporary file cleanup does not delete your saved projects.
